VRoid Studio is currently investigating a situation at hand. People are illegally using non-downloadable models from the VRoid Hub to become VTubers in other applications. VRoid Studios who owns the copyright to those specific characters said that they are against the use of their models.
The creators of the software give people the opportunity to create their own custom content. So stealing models from their 3D Hub and using them without permission is very disrespectful. Specially when it clearly states on their website that you cannot use specific models.
In order to investigate the circumstance, VRoid have decided to stop the preview of the non-downloadable models.
