Meet VTuber Bao Ch. 海の幽霊

As you know we look for VTubers. Eventually we will get into gossip territory regarding VTubers, which will be very messy. There is bound to be VTubers acting up somewhere on social media. But Star Bright Stars gives people full free promotion. Specially when they have a positive attitude. So here is a VTuber who goes by the name Hikaru Station. She is a deity VTuber who creates original music and cover songs. She has a total of 198K subscribers, and over 28,256,223 views in total.

As we have observed, a lot of people like their VTube personas to have blue hair. What exactly is a deity? Well a deity is basically a God or a Goddess. So Bao Ch. 海の幽霊's persona is that of a Whale Goddess. Her design is very unique. She made her debut as a VTuber in 2020.

She would describe her VTube personality as a lonely whale. One of her original songs "Seafoam" is really creative. It really reflects her persona. And it seems to be one of her many debut songs.

So what do we know about Hikaru Station? Well for one she is American-Asian and lives in the United States. She is of Vietnamese descent and made her debut as a cover singer in 2015. She garnered 17,422,575 views on one of her covers, which made her known prior to her debut as a VTuber. So yes, she was already known to the public. She speaks English, Japanese and Vietnamese. She can also play the guitar, ukelele, piano and ocarina.

Most of her background music is created by Cha Latte Cafe.

Like one of our contributors Pop Karaoke, it would seem that Hikaru Station also at one point had blue hair. As Pop has explained, it is not natural to have blue hair. And in the long run people who dye their hair end up damaging it, and end up reverting to their natural hair color. It is funny when you see the people behind the avatars, some actually look similar to their characters. It would seem that Hikaru never quite had the whole VTube character persona created prior to the popularity of VTubers. And originally she was playing herself. If you understand the message, it is that she had no Whale persona. But did in fact channel the sea theme as seen in her original song.

A source stated because of the money she has made in the last few years from her supporters, she was able to easily fund her VTube persona. Via her Patreon account Hikaru Station, she has makes $495 per month. She also sells her music on social media platforms and is monetized on her YouTube channel. With only 76 loyal followers on Patreon, she still seems to be raking in the dough.

Star Bright Stars Productions thinks that she is swell. And that if you are looking for a interesting VTuber, you should in fact follow Hikaru Station. After listening to her original songs, we all agreed here, that she is quite talented.

Hikaru Station also does live-streams. Most of these new generation VTubers do use strong language, so if you are against swearing, and strong language which some people would consider to be childish and crazy, do not watch. Most contributors here do not use language in that context. So we cannot really condone it. But this VTuber is a grown woman, and can do as she pleases. Which is what was previously covered in the article Becoming a VTuber, basically about how some VTubers have to put on crazy personas to appeal to the general public. Which mostly includes sexual content and strong language. Social media today praises sexual content, which sets a really bad example for children, who are often masked on social media under Anime accounts.

Most websites do not do age verification. The only website to recently implement it is YouTube.

The sexual and strong language content that VTubers are using will possibly eventually be cracked down on somewhere down the line. So our suggestion here to them, is that maybe tone it down? What these VTubers forget is that little children are tuning into their shows, and you are basically setting a bad example. Specially when a majority of these VTubers are 18+ in age. This is not to this VTuber, it is to all. Obviously nobody listens to reason. But we are just putting it out there.

A little swear word here or there never hurt anyone. But people should really be more discreet, when it comes to sexual conversations.

When Google was forced to pay $170 million for YouTube child privacy breaches, that included children's content. VTubers are real people, adults who actually are in that category. The characters VTubers portray on TikTok, YouTube, Twitter and Twitch appeal to children. Worst of all anyone could be behind these avatars. So keep that in mind.

But other than that this YouTuber known as Hikaru Station seems to have quite the following.

Where can you find Hikaru Station? You can find her under the username Baovtuber on TikTok, Bao's Comfy Cove on Discord, and Hikaru Station on Twitter. She also has a SoundCloud, Twitch, and Spotify.
